Vivian Maier is an incredible story. A nanny by profession, she was passionate about street photography and created a vast body of work totally in secret. The closest people to her had no idea. She left over 100,000 negatives with beautifully shot street scenes, portraits and self-portraits as well as documentary home made films and audio recordings. She died in poverty and her negatives were discovered at a local thrift action and bought for a few hundred dollars. This unbelievable story is now a documentary about to be released. Coming soon to an art house theater near you…not to be missed!
